Responsibilities
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize pallets in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move products efficiently and safely
- Conduct inventory counts using RF scanners and maintain accurate stock records
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for food handling and equipment operation
- Monitor temperature controls and report equipment malfunctions promptly
- Sanitize workspaces and equipment to meet USDA compliance standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet daily shipment deadlines
Qualifications
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging from -10°F to 40°F for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic math skills for inventory management and order verification
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance record
- Ability to pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
