Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in cold storage units
- Handle and organize perishable goods with precision and care
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments
- Conduct routine inventory counts and documentation
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols (HACCP standards)
- Collaborate with team members for efficient loading/unloading
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic math skills for inventory tasks
