Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer facilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for inventory movement and stacking
- Inspect and load/unload temperature-sensitive products with precision
- Conduct routine safety checks on equipment and storage areas
- Follow FIFO (First-In-First-Out) inventory rotation protocols
- Document inventory counts and shipping/receiving data
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets
- Adhere to all food safety and OSHA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and withstand cold environments (28-32°F)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
- Flexible schedule availability including weekends/holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
