Responsibilities
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols for refrigerated/freezer units (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment safely
- Perform inventory management and cycle counting in cold environments
- Inspect and sort incoming/outgoing perishable products for quality assurance
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards at all times
- Document temperature logs and warehouse activities using digital systems
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient workflow
- Participate in regular sanitation and facility maintenance
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (-10°F to 40°F) for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and quality control standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
