Responsibilities
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and pallets using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in cold storage areas (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect and record product temperatures using digital monitoring systems
- Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, reach trucks, and conveyors
- Follow HACCP protocols and sanitation standards for food safety
- Perform inventory counts and update warehouse management systems
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in cold environments (32°F to -10°F) for extended periods
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
