Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature monitoring in refrigerated/freezer units
- Safely load/unload perishable goods using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct daily inventory counts and stock rotation (FIFO)
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Operate automated storage/retrieval systems
- Sanitize equipment and facilities following FDA guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures (-10°F to 40°F)
- Basic math and inventory management skills
- OSHA 10-hour certification preferred
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Flexible availability (weekends/holidays required)
