Responsibilities
- Maintain proper cold chain temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) during product handling
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and temperature monitoring systems
- Execute FIFO inventory rotation and stock rotation procedures
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards in all operations
- Conduct pre-shift equipment inspections and quality checks
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs accurately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP) a plus
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures with appropriate PPE
