Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for safe product loading/unloading
- Conduct quality checks on perishable goods upon arrival
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols (HACCP compliance)
- Perform routine sanitation and cleaning procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Valid OSHA forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Knowledge of temperature-controlled environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking
