Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment safely
- Inspect and organize inventory using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards at all times
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and report malfunctions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading
- Sanitize storage areas and equipment per food safety guidelines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance focus
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Flexible schedule including weekends/holidays as needed
