Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move frozen goods in -10°F environment
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Inspect and sanitize equipment to meet FDA safety standards
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks while maintaining temperature integrity
- Monitor storage conditions and report equipment malfunctions
- Follow HACCP protocols for food handling and sanitation
- Collaborate with team to optimize storage space and workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in -10°F environment for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Flexible availability including weekends and holidays
