Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain cold storage temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) using digital monitoring systems
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory in designated zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration equipment with provided safety gear
- Conduct daily quality checks on perishable goods and report discrepancies
- Adhere to HACCP protocols and sanitation standards for food safety compliance
- Maintain accurate inventory logs using warehouse management software
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain with company training
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly with proper equipment use
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
