Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and automated warehouse systems
- Perform inventory audits using digital tracking systems
- Implement FIFO rotation protocols for perishable goods
- Conduct quality control inspections on incoming/outgoing shipments
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards
- Collaborate with logistics team for seamless loading/unloading operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse/cold storage experience required
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) for extended periods
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Basic proficiency with warehouse management software
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license preferred
