Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature control in refrigerated/freezer zones (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration systems per OSHA protocols
- Inspect and document inventory using warehouse management systems
- Sanitize equipment and facilities using FDA-approved cleaning agents
- Coordinate with logistics teams for efficient product rotation and FIFO compliance
- Monitor and report equipment malfunctions to maintenance team
- Participate in quarterly safety drills and certification programs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly in temperature-controlled environment
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Flexible schedule including early mornings, nights, and weekends
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screening
