Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration equipment safely
- Inspect and record inventory using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols strictly
- Load/unload temperature-sensitive products efficiently
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
- Report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards immediately
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to train)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
