Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain temperature-controlled environments (-10°F to 40°F) using digital monitoring systems
- Safely handle, palletize, and rotate perishable goods including dairy, frozen foods, and pharmaceuticals
- Operate electric pallet jacks and forklifts in narrow-aisle warehouse configurations
- Execute FIFO inventory management protocols and conduct cycle counts
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards for cold environments
- Perform sanitation procedures and equipment maintenance checks
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs using warehouse management software
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to complete training)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures with appropriate PPE
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
