Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated warehouse zones
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trailers using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct daily inspections of refrigeration equipment and report malfunctions
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA protocols for food handling safety
- Inventory control and rotation of perishable goods using WMS systems
- Maintain detailed logs for temperature records and equipment maintenance
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Valid OSHA forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
