Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and temperature monitoring systems
- Inspect and document product quality upon receipt and storage
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Coordinate inventory management using warehouse management systems
- Perform sanitation and sanitation procedures in compliance with FDA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage, warehouse, or refrigerated logistics
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and work in sub-zero environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
- Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
