Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated storage areas
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move refrigerated products safely
- Conduct routine inventory audits using our remote inventory management system
- Monitor and report equipment malfunctions via digital communication platforms
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA safety protocols for food handling
- Coordinate with remote logistics team for shipment scheduling
- Perform sanitation and pest control procedures in cold zones
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Proficient with digital inventory tracking systems (remote component)
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance mindset
- Reliable transportation to facility (remote admin work from home)
