Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated storage facilities (-10°F to 40°F) following strict temperature control protocols
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Monitor inventory levels and conduct cycle counts in cold environments
- Maintain sanitation standards including sanitation procedures and pest control
- Comply with OSHA and FDA regulations for food handling
- Operate temperature monitoring systems and report deviations
- Perform preventive maintenance on refrigeration equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly
- Basic computer skills for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
