Responsibilities
- Maintain proper temperature controls and humidity levels in refrigerated zones
- Safely load/unload trucks and organize palletized inventory
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in cold environments
- Conduct quality inspections of stored perishable goods
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Complete inventory counts and documentation accurately
- Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration equipment
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in 32°F (0°C) environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Pass pre-employment background check and drug screen
