Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in cold storage units using monitoring equipment
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts (certification provided)
- Inspect and record product quality, rotation dates, and inventory levels
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA safety protocols for food handling
- Operate powered pallet jacks and warehouse equipment safely
- Sanitize work areas and equipment following strict hygiene standards
- Collaborate with inventory team for accurate stock rotation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments for extended periods
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems
- Valid California driver's license preferred
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly with proper techniques
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience a plus
