Responsibilities
- Safely unload, inspect, and store temperature-sensitive products in refrigerated environments (32°F-40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment with OSHA-compliant protocols
- Maintain accurate inventory records and implement FIFO rotation systems
- Monitor and document temperature/humidity levels using digital monitoring systems
- Adhere to HACCP standards and sanitation protocols for food safety compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize warehouse operations
- Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in 32°F-40°F environments for extended periods
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Valid forklift certification or ability to complete company training
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Basic computer skills for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety protocols
