Responsibilities
- Maintain precise temperature and humidity controls in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigerated equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect and record inventory levels using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA food safety protocols for perishable goods
- Coordinate with logistics team for timely loading/unloading of refrigerated trailers
- Perform routine sanitation and maintenance of storage facilities
- Participate in safety drills and emergency response procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage or warehouse environment
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and work in temperatures below 32°F
- Basic knowledge of inventory management systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to complete
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
