Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated and freezer environments
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment with precision
- Load/unload trucks while adhering to FIFO inventory protocols
- Conduct routine safety inspections of equipment and storage areas
- Document inventory movements and quality control metrics
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless operations
- Maintain strict hygiene and sanitation standards in all work areas
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Valid forklift certification (or ability to pass company training)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays
