Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in cold storage units
- Safely load/unload refrigerated trucks using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct inventory counts and organize products according to FIFO protocols
- Adhere to strict safety standards for cold environments and heavy machinery
- Perform routine sanitation and facility maintenance tasks
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational targets
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Valid OSHA Forklift Certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F (-23°C)
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly with proper technique
