Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer storage areas
- Safely load, unload, and organize perishable goods using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct daily inventory counts and update warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict sanitation and food safety protocols (HACCP compliance)
- Operate temperature monitoring equipment and report deviations immediately
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient order fulfillment
- Maintain accurate records of storage conditions and product handling
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Forklift certification (or ability to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability (including weekends)
