Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature conditions in refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks for efficient inventory movement
- Inspect and sanitize equipment to meet HACCP standards
- Load/unload shipments while following safety protocols
- Monitor inventory levels and report discrepancies
- Adhere to OSHA and company safety regulations
- Collaborate with team members for smooth warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Valid California driver's license
- OSHA 10-hour certification (or equivalent)
- Ability to work flexible shifts including weekends
