Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain strict temperature/humidity controls in refrigerated and frozen storage areas
- Inspect, load, and unload temperature-sensitive products using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA safety protocols for food-grade storage facilities
- Conduct routine inventory audits and stock rotation using WMS systems
- Operate and sanitize refrigeration equipment and temperature monitoring devices
- Maintain detailed logs of temperature readings and equipment performance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient warehouse operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage or temperature-controlled environments
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- OSHA 10 certification preferred
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety standards
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
