Responsibilities
- Maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer environments (-20°F to 40°F)
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Perform inventory management, stock rotation, and order fulfillment tasks
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA safety protocols for food handling
- Conduct routine equipment inspections and maintenance checks
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless workflow and on-time shipments
- Maintain accurate documentation of inventory and quality control metrics
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage, warehousing, or logistics
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in extreme cold environments (-20°F) for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Ability to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- High school diploma or equivalent required
