Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move refrigerated goods efficiently
- Maintain precise temperature/humidity controls in storage zones
- Conduct daily inventory audits using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols rigorously
- Coordinate loading/unloading of temperature-sensitive shipments
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas per food safety guidelines
- Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance needs
Qualifications
- 6+ months cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in 32°F/0°C environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
