Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature levels in refrigerated storage units
- Load/unload products using forklifts and pallet jacks following safety protocols
- Inspect incoming shipments for quality and proper packaging
- Organize and rotate inventory using FIFO (First-In-First-Out) methods
- Sanitize work areas and equipment to meet health standards
- Operate warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as 0°F (-18°C)
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and flexible schedule availability
