Responsibilities
- Unload and load refrigerated trucks while maintaining strict temperature control protocols
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in cold storage environments (0°F to 40°F zones)
- Monitor and record inventory levels using digital tracking systems
- Perform quality checks on incoming/outgoing perishable products
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards in all daily tasks
- Rotate stock to ensure FIFO compliance and product freshness
- Maintain clean, organized storage areas and sanitation procedures
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk 8+ hours daily
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong teamwork skills with cross-departmental communication abilities
- Reliable transportation and flexible schedule availability
