Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated forklifts and pallet jacks in sub-zero temperatures (-10°F to 32°F)
- Monitor and maintain temperature-controlled inventory zones using WMS systems
- Inspect and sanitize storage facilities to comply with FDA/HACCP standards
- Coordinate with warehouse team for efficient loading/unloading of refrigerated trucks
- Document inventory movements and temperature logs using digital reporting tools
- Implement FIFO rotation protocols for perishable goods
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols for cold environments
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or refrigerated warehouse experience
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments for extended periods
- Basic computer literacy for inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance mindset
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Flexible availability including weekends/holidays during peak seasons
