Responsibilities
- Operate temperature-controlled storage facilities (-10°F to 40°F) using provided refrigeration equipment
- Handle, palletize, and organize frozen/refrigerated products with forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct inventory counts using RF scanners and maintain accurate stock records
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards for cold environment work
- Perform sanitation procedures and facility maintenance as scheduled
- Load/unload temperature-controlled trucks using provided dock equipment
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain (training provided)
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends (shift differential offered)
