Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated zones using digital monitoring systems
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks to load/unload temperature-sensitive products
- Conduct thorough quality inspections of incoming/outgoing perishable goods
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management software
- Adhere to strict safety protocols for handling frozen/refrigerated materials
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless logistics operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in temperatures as low as -10°F for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and quality control standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Pass background check and pre-employment drug screen
