Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain precise temperature controls (-10°F to 40°F) across storage zones
- Execute inventory management systems using RF scanning technology
- Inspect and document product integrity for compliance with FDA standards
- Coordinate cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading of perishables
- Implement HACCP protocols for food safety and sanitation
- Perform preventative maintenance on refrigeration units
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience required
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Forklift certification (or ability to complete training)
- Ability to work in sub-zero environments for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail with record-keeping abilities
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Valid Florida driver's license preferred
