Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 45°F)
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in cold storage zones with precision
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and containers using proper stacking techniques
- Conduct daily equipment inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA food safety protocols
- Perform inventory audits and stock rotation in cold conditions
- Utilize warehouse management systems for tracking
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year experience in cold storage or refrigerated warehouse environments
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for 8+ hours in sub-zero conditions
- Valid forklift certification preferred
- Basic knowledge of refrigeration systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to work nights/weekends during peak seasons
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
