Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in cold storage facilities (-10°F to 40°F)
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature and humidity levels
- Inspect products for quality and compliance with safety standards
- Load/unload shipments using proper lifting techniques and equipment
- Complete inventory logs and shipping documentation accurately
- Adhere to HACCP protocols and OSHA safety regulations
- Maintain clean and organized work areas
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or ability to obtain within 30 days
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Basic math and inventory tracking skills
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly
- Reliable transportation and flexible availability
