Responsibilities
- Operate refrigerated storage systems and monitor temperature controls
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and organize inventory in cold storage facilities
- Conduct quality checks on perishable goods and report discrepancies
- Maintain strict sanitation standards following HACCP protocols
- Use forklifts and pallet jacks to move products efficiently
- Complete inventory documentation and warehouse management tasks
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures (32°F-40°F)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Physical stamina for lifting up to 50 lbs regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
