Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer units
- Safely load/unload palletized products using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct daily inventory counts and stock rotation (FIFO method)
- Adhere to strict HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, order selectors, and conveyors
- Complete sanitation procedures for equipment and storage areas
- Document temperature logs and operational reports
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse/cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs repeatedly in cold environments
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- OSHA 10 certification or willingness to complete
- Reliable transportation and punctuality
- Ability to work in 0°F freezer environments for extended periods
- Pass pre-employment background/drug screening
