Responsibilities
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and refrigeration equipment to move and organize perishable goods
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Inspect and record inventory using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to HACCP, OSHA, and GMP safety standards
- Perform sanitation and sanitation checks on equipment and storage areas
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient loading/unloading operations
- Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid OSHA 10 certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for extended periods
- Proficient in basic inventory tracking systems
- Forklift certification a plus (training available)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures with appropriate PPE
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
