Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated/freezer units
- Safely load/unload palletized goods using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct routine sanitation and cleaning of storage areas and equipment
- Perform inventory counts and document stock movements accurately
- Adhere strictly to FDA and USDA food safety protocols
- Operate warehouse management systems for inventory tracking
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Previous cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Valid driver's license
