Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and maintain inventory records
- Monitor temperature/humidity systems and report equipment malfunctions
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols
- Perform quality checks on perishable goods
- Maintain clean and organized storage areas
- Assist with monthly inventory audits
Qualifications
- Ability to work in cold temperatures (32°F-40°F) for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Basic math skills for inventory tracking
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
