Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Safely load/unload perishable goods using pallet jacks and forklifts
- Conduct inventory audits with RF scanning technology
- Implement HACCP sanitation protocols in all work areas
- Operate automated storage/retrieval systems (AS/RS) efficiently
- Collaborate with logistics team for timely order fulfillment
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year cold storage or warehouse experience required
- OSHA 10-hour certification or willingness to obtain
- Forklift certification (or ability to complete training)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly in sub-zero environments
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
- Valid Michigan driver's license preferred
