Responsibilities
- Operate pallet jacks and forklifts to efficiently load/unload refrigerated trucks
- Maintain strict temperature monitoring and documentation of storage units
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols in all cold environments
- Perform inventory counts using RF scanners and WMS systems
- Sanitize equipment and storage areas following food safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for timely order fulfillment
- Report equipment malfunctions and maintenance needs promptly
Qualifications
- Ability to work in temperatures ranging from 35°F to -10°F for extended periods
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (required for equipment operation)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand/walk for 8+ hour shifts
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems and documentation
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety compliance
- Flexible schedule including nights/weekends during peak seasons
- Willingness to obtain forklift certification (company-paid training provided)
