Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperature/humidity levels in refrigerated and frozen storage zones
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Inspect products for quality compliance and proper storage conditions
- Perform inventory counts using warehouse management systems
- Adhere to strict food safety protocols (HACCP) and OSHA standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless logistics operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures (0°F to -20°F)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance awareness
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking systems
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for extended periods
