Responsibilities
- Load/unload refrigerated trucks and pallets using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Maintain strict temperature control protocols for perishable goods
- Conduct daily sanitation and safety checks in cold storage facilities
- Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jacks, RF scanners) with precision
- Manage inventory tracking and documentation in refrigerated zones
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Minimum 6 months warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures (0°F to 40°F) for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds regularly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic math skills for inventory management
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance
