Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain optimal temperatures (-10°F to 40°F) in refrigerated/freezer zones
- Safely load/unload pallets of frozen/dry goods using forklifts and pallet jacks
- Conduct routine sanitation and pest control inspections per HACCP standards
- Operate warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, hand trucks, and conveyors
- Inventory management using RF scanners and warehouse management systems
- Adhere to OSHA safety protocols for cold environments and material handling
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for efficient dock operations
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds repeatedly and stand for 8+ hours
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends (12-hour shifts available)
- Strong attention to detail and safety compliance mindset
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures with appropriate PPE
