Responsibilities
- Load, unload, and organize temperature-sensitive products (meat, dairy, produce) in -10°F to 40°F environments
- Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and cold storage equipment following OSHA safety protocols
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems
- Sanitize and maintain cleanliness of storage areas and equipment daily
- Inspect products for quality and report any discrepancies to supervisors
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize workflow efficiency
- Adhere to HACCP and FDA regulations for food safety compliance
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of cold storage or warehouse experience preferred
- Valid forklift certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work in sub-zero temperatures for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds regularly
- Basic computer literacy for inventory systems
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance record
