Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks in refrigerated environments (-10°F to 40°F)
- Inspect and maintain cold storage equipment to optimize performance
- Manage inventory rotation and FIFO compliance in temperature-controlled zones
- Adhere to HACCP and OSHA safety protocols for food handling
- Perform routine sanitation procedures and facility upkeep
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless logistics operations
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year warehouse or cold storage experience preferred
- Ability to work in sub-freezing temperatures for extended periods
- Valid forklift certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Strong attention to detail and inventory management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly with proper equipment
- Basic computer literacy for inventory tracking systems
